Is it Summer yet???

After seeing the snow yesterday (yes it's March!) I wanted to go somewhere warm! Since this was a last minute thing, the closest place I got was Paper Cottage and last years summer pictures! The store had just received in Rusted Sun papers by Fancy Pants Designs and seeing these papers gave me inspiration to take myself away and "dream" of the Summer Sun!
(dies used: 2x2 sun, 2x2 photo anchors and 4x4 nesting labels)

Over looked die.....

I've been going through the "Travel" release dies and have found a die that I can't believe I over looked at the possibilities of it! Or maybe I just found time to "play" with it!! It's the Postcard Cookie Cutter die. It's a bit too big to use on the Revolution so an Epic 6 is a must to have with this die. (have you seen the special we are running if you don't have an Epic 6??)
Here is a layout using the new papers by The Girls Paperie, the Postcard Cookie Cutter die (used it for the title and journaling piece) and the 4x8 License Plate font.
Now you are probably thinking "big deal" but check out this gift card holder I made using the Postcard die! It was so simple, you could make a bunch of these card holders using a variety of different papers and have them ready to go when needing a card. One simple cut with the Postcard die, fold it in half and slip your gift card through the pre-punched slots and the card is done. The recipient will think you are so creative!

If you don't have this die, I highly recommend investing in it!

Finally scrapped the pictures of my kids "driving" my 1st car.
Love the new Jillibean Soup papers that were perfect for these pictures.
Added journaling with the 4x4 bracket journaling block die and used Teriyaki font for the title "car".
